Your Pathway to a Degree / Professional Qualification
Why Millions of Students Around the World Choose A Level According to the British Council, over 2 million students from 160 countries take the A Level exams every year, and here are some of the reasons why:
A Level programme focuses on producing mature thinking students, well-equipped to independently analyse, evaluate, criticise and apply broad arrays of in-depth knowledge acquired from a particular subject - A strong value preferred by top universities when recruiting students into their institution.
A Level subjects are covered in great breadth and depth yet flexible enough NOT to 'lock" you onto a specific field; providing you freedom to specialise at a later stage. For instance, if you're an SPM holder feeling undecided about going for a Law or Management or Accounting degree, you can always do that after completing your A Level.
The A Level qualifications are awarded by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), a division of the Cambridge Assessment from the University of Cambridge. It is one of the very few world-class pre-university qualifications recognised by top UK universities, like, Cambridge, Oxford, London, Yale, Harvard, etc. In the US, it is recognised and accepted by over 500 universities, including all Ivy League universities, MIT & Stanford. Recognition from other countries include Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Egypt, Jordan, South Africa, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain.
Better Command of English
The immersion of English throughout the course drives students from non-native English speaking background to use the language in a wider setting; significantly improving their language proficiency to stay ahead in colleges or universities where success relies equally upon on rapid learning and strong communication skills.
